My mixed media designs seek to explore and capture the thin otherworldly realm that exists between what we see and what we cannot.  I'm inspired by the mystery of the past as well as ancient folklore, fairy tales, cinema  and the various thoughts that flow through me in my daily life.   Aged ephemera, vintage portraits, and original photography all come together in richly imagined, dreamlike narratives of the human condition.  My ethereal characters, often posed in surreal like settings, are meant to strike a balance between romanticism and a more contemporary edginess that is both whimsical yet sophisticated. 

In late Fall 2008 we'll unveil Baby Cakes.  This new line of boutique style children's apparel features playful onesies and tees for your wee ones.
